With the total construction area of 20,000 square meters, and entire investment of USD6,000,000, our company boasts one advanced ferment workshop, one extraction workshop and a comprehensive office building, which are all designed and constructed by strictly following the GMP standards of pharmaceutical enterprise. It is equipped with 10 fermentation tanks of 80 cubic meters, as well as the matching facilities of separation, extraction and drying, with very high automation. It is capable of manufacturing 30,000 metric ton of red yeast fermentation broth, 3.6 metric ton of red yeast astaxanthin with 8% of the natural astaxanthin, and 2,500 tons of red-zymosan with 0.15% of the natural astaxanthin annually.

With the molecular formula of C40H52O4, astaxanthin is a small organic molecule, and carotenoids with the end group of ketone. It is mainly used as nutritious color and high efficient antioxidant material, which is added into the aquatic feed to strengthen the immunity of the aquatic animals, raise the individual livability and facilitate their growth. In addition, it can be used as the dye for aquatic animals, which will produce very noticeable effects in Salmon, Japanese prawn and ornamental fish, as it changes the color of the fish body, increases the commercial value and breeding efficiency. As antioxidant material, astaxanthin boasts very strong capabilities of quenching the free radicals and restraining the oxidation of cell mitochondrial lipid. The study shows that the fat and oxidation resistance of astaxanthin is 10 times stronger than the β carotene and 100 times higher over Vitamin E, and it can also improve human immunity and tumor resistance. These special biological activities of astaxanthin have attracted the wide attention from researchers, biologists and pharmaceutical experts, which will inevitably promote the development of cosmetics, functional food, medicine and other industries, as well as relevant projects.
